SECTION 3

Our Culture & Values

Every person who works with or for HS Buraq Logix | whether as an intern, collaborator, or team member, is expected to understand and embody these values. They are not decorative. They define how we work.

01. Ownership

We do not wait to be told. We take responsibility for our work end-to-end, from understanding the requirement to delivering something that actually works. Excuses are not a deliverable.

02. Quality Over Speed

We move fast, but never at the cost of quality. Rushed, sloppy work damages client trust and our reputation. If more time is needed to deliver something right, communicate that early, not after the deadline.

03. Honesty

We tell the truth, to clients, to each other, and to ourselves. If something is not working, say so. If you do not know how to do something, say so. Pretending leads to bigger problems than admitting uncertainty.

04. Respect for Client Time & Money

Every project represents a client's investment of trust and resources. We treat that with seriousness. Missed deadlines, poor communication, and careless output are not acceptable here.

05. Continuous Learning

Technology evolves daily. We expect everyone at HS Buraq Logix to be actively learning, new tools, frameworks, and approaches. Stagnation is not an option in an AI-first company.

06. Professionalism

We are a professional studio, not a casual group project. All communication, internal and external, should reflect the maturity and seriousness of a functioning company.

07. Confidentiality by Default

Client information, project details, internal processes, and company data are confidential unless explicitly stated otherwise. This is non-negotiable.

SECTION 4

Code of Conduct

The following conduct is required of all persons associated with HS Buraq Logix:

4.1 Professional Behavior

  • Communicate professionally in all written and verbal interactions, with clients, teammates, and leadership.
  • Attend all scheduled meetings, check-ins, or standups on time.
  • Deliver work by agreed deadlines. If a deadline cannot be met, communicate this at least 24 hours in advance with a reason and revised timeline.
  • Do not submit work that is incomplete, untested, or deliberately misrepresented as done.

4.2 Prohibited Conduct (Grounds for Immediate Termination)

  • Sharing, leaking, or discussing any client data, project details, or internal company information with unauthorized persons.
  • Using company resources, access credentials, tools, or platforms for personal benefit or unauthorized purposes.
  • Misrepresenting your skills, qualifications, or work progress to the company or to clients.
  • Plagiarizing code, design, content, or work submitted as your own.
  • Any form of harassment, discrimination, or disrespectful conduct toward any team member or client.
  • Working on competing projects that directly conflict with active HS Buraq Logix client work without prior written disclosure.
  • Attempting to directly solicit or acquire clients who were first introduced through HS Buraq Logix, both during and for 12 months after your association ends.
Violations of prohibited conduct result in immediate termination of association and prospective legal action.

4.3 Conflict of Interest

You must disclose any outside work, freelance projects, or engagements that could reasonably conflict with HS Buraq Logix's interests before beginning work here. Undisclosed conflicts discovered afterward are grounds for immediate dismissal.

SECTION 5

The following categories of information are strictly confidential and must never be shared externally without written authorization from HS Buraq Logix founders:

  • All client names, project briefs, requirements, source code, and deliverables
  • Pricing, proposals, and financial terms discussed with clients

  • You may not store confidential data on personal devices or personal cloud accounts (Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.) without written approval.
  • Upon completion or termination of your internship or engagement, you must delete all confidential materials from personal devices and accounts.
  • Your confidentiality obligation does not expire when your internship or engagement ends. It continues indefinitely for client data and for 2 years for internal company information.
Breach of this confidentiality policy will result in immediate termination and may expose you to legal action. HS Buraq Logix takes client trust and data security seriously. There are no exceptions to this policy.
SECTION 6

Intellectual Property Policy

This policy applies to all code, designs, content, documentation, workflows, tools, and any other work produced during your engagement with HS Buraq Logix.

6.1 Company Ownership

Any work you create, develop, design, or contribute to during your internship or collaboration with HS Buraq Logix | whether or not it is directly requested, that relates to:

  • A client project assigned to you by HS Buraq Logix
  • Internal tools, systems, or processes built for HS Buraq Logix
  • Any product, feature, or deliverable scoped during your engagement

6.2 Portfolio Usage

…is the sole intellectual property of HS Buraq Logix. You retain no rights to this work. You may not use it in a personal portfolio, share it publicly, or distribute it without written permission from the founders.

After your internship or engagement ends, you may request written permission to reference your contribution in your personal portfolio. Generic descriptions (e.g., 'Developed a Flutter mobile app for a logistics client') may be approved. Sharing actual code, designs, screenshots, or client names requires explicit written consent.

6.3 Pre-Existing Work

Any code, libraries, frameworks, or tools you bring into the company that were created before your engagement must be disclosed upfront. Pre-existing personal IP that is incorporated into company or client work may require a license agreement.

SECTION 7

Work Standards & Communication Policy

7.1 Delivery Standards

  • All code must be tested before submission. Submitting code you have not run is not acceptable.
  • Code must follow the project's agreed conventions, naming standards, and folder structure.
  • All tasks must be tracked in the assigned project management tool. Verbal-only updates are not considered task completion.
  • Designs must match the approved brief and be submitted in the required format (Figma, exported assets, etc.).
  • Written content must be proofread before submission.

7.2 Communication Standards

  • Primary communication channel: WhatsApp (internal) and Email (formal/client).
  • Respond to internal messages within 4 working hours during your agreed working window.
  • If you are unavailable (sick, emergency, personal obligation), inform your supervisor before your working window begins, not after.
  • All client-facing communication must be approved by a founder unless you have been explicitly authorized to communicate directly.
  • Do not make commitments, promises, timelines, or pricing offers to clients on behalf of HS Buraq Logix without founder approval.

7.3 Task Management

  • Tasks are assigned with a deadline and a brief. Clarify requirements before starting, not after spending hours going in the wrong direction.
  • If you are blocked, escalate immediately. Sitting blocked silently and missing a deadline is not acceptable.
  • Daily or weekly progress updates are required depending on your role assignment.
SECTION 8

Data & Digital Security Policy

8.1 Access Credentials

  • Never share login credentials, API keys, or access tokens assigned to you, with anyone, inside or outside the company.
  • Do not store credentials in plain text in code files, Notion, WhatsApp, or public repositories. Use environment variables or approved secrets management.
  • Immediately report any suspected unauthorized access, credential exposure, or suspicious activity to a founder.

8.2 Device & Repository Security

  • Company or client codebases must not be pushed to personal public GitHub repositories.
  • Always use approved repositories and branches. Do not push directly to main/master without review, unless explicitly authorized.
  • Do not install unapproved software or browser extensions on devices used for company work.

8.3 End of Engagement

  • All company and client data, credentials, repository access, and tools must be returned or revoked within 48 hours of your engagement ending.
  • Failure to comply with data return requirements will be treated as a security breach.
